WarChief Dragon Canoe, formerly John Gethers, serves as Founder and Principal of Epiphany Global Institute and Chief Executive of Epiphany Management Consulting. War Chief of the Erati Tsaragi Cusabo Nation, his charge is restoration, sovereignty, and service. The Institute is the instrument of that charge.

Selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who in April 2026 for distinguished achievement in the consulting profession, recognized in 2023 with the State Star of South Carolina Award, and named Top Business Consultant of South Carolina the same year. Across his career, he has raised more than $100 million in capital for businesses, working through the South Carolina Small Business Development Centers as Regional Director and through executive roles at Nile River Capital, Contractor Growth Capital, and Diamond Standard Capital.

His executive practice spans the chair at Boring and Directional Drilling Professionals, the vice presidency of Nile River Capital, the presidency of Contractor Growth Capital, and consulting leadership at Diamond Standard Capital. He holds the Project Management Professional certification (since 2013), CompTIA Net+ and A+ credentials, and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Claflin University.

Born in Beaufort and raised on tribal lands, he descends from a lineage of builders. His grandfather founded a federal credit union in the 1960s. His paternal grandfather served in the Second World War. His fifth-generation grandfather founded Round O. The Institute carries that inheritance forward.
